Terms and Conditions of Sale
ARTICLE 1 - Scope
These Terms and Conditions of Sale apply, without restriction or reservation, to all sales concluded by Hugo Bonfils (“the Seller”) to consumers and non-professional buyers (“the Customers”), wishing to acquire the products offered for sale by the Seller (“the Products”) on the website Deskon.uk.
They specify the conditions for ordering, payment, delivery, and the management of any returns of Products ordered by Customers. These Terms prevail over any other version or conflicting document.
ARTICLE 2 - Products Offered for Sale
The Products offered on Deskon.uk include:
- Height-Adjustable and Standing desks
- Ergonomic Chairs
- Office Chairs
- Office Accessories
The main characteristics of the Products (specifications, illustrations, dimensions) are presented on Deskon.uk - The Customer must read them before placing an order. Photographs and graphics are not contractual.
ARTICLE 3 - Validity of the Offer
Product offers are subject to availability, as specified at the time the order is placed.

In accordance with the UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018, the Customer has the right to access, rectify, and delete their personal data at any time.
ARTICLE 5 - Orders
5-1. Placing an Order: The Customer selects Products on Deskon.uk, checks the total price, and corrects any errors before validating the order. The sale is final only after Deskon sends an email confirmation. We reserve the right to refuse orders of more than 10 items of the same Product.
5-2. Modification: Modifications can only be considered if requested via email 1 day before dispatch.
5-3. Cancellation: Orders can be cancelled (excluding the right to withdraw) 1 day before the scheduled supply of Products, free of charge.
ARTICLE 6 - Prices
Prices for Deskon products are listed in Pounds Sterling (GBP £), inclusive of all taxes. Prices include processing, handling, and delivery costs.
ARTICLE 7 - Payment Terms
Payment is due in full at the time of ordering via secure payment:
- Credit/Debit Cards (Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Maestro).
- Paypal
ARTICLE 8 - Delivery
Products are delivered exclusively within the United Kingdom. The delivery time is 3 to 7 working days.
Under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, if the Products are not delivered within 30 days of the indicative date (excluding force majeure), the Customer may cancel the contract and receive a full refund within 14 days. Deskon assumes all transport risks until physical possession is taken by the Customer.
ARTICLE 9 - Transfer of Ownership and Risks
Ownership passes to the Customer only after full payment. However, the risk of loss or damage transfers only when the Customer takes physical possession of the Products.
ARTICLE 10 - Right of Withdrawal (Right to Cancel)
In accordance with the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013, the Customer has 14 days from the receipt of the Product to exercise their right to withdraw without justification.
Products must be returned in their original packaging and in perfect condition within 14 days of notifying the Seller. Damaged or incomplete items will not be accepted.
Deskon will refund the price of the Products. Returns are free of charge for the buyer; Deskon covers all return shipping costs.
ARTICLE 11 - Liability and Warranty
Products sold on Deskon.uk comply with UK regulations. Under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, all Products must be:
- Of satisfactory quality
- Fit for purpose
- As described
If a Product is faulty, the Customer has a "short-term right to reject" and receive a full refund within 30 days. Beyond 30 days, Deskon will repair or replace the item. Deskon’s liability is limited to the replacement or refund of non-compliant Products and does not cover misuse or professional use.
ARTICLE 12 - Protection of Personal Data
Personal data is collected for order processing and invoicing. In compliance with UK GDPR, Deskon ensures optimal protection of Customer data. Rights of access and modification can be exercised via contact@deskon.uk
ARTICLE 13 - Intellectual Property
All content on Deskon.uk is the property of the Seller and is protected by UK and international intellectual property laws.
ARTICLE 14 - Force Majeure
Parties are not liable for delays or failures caused by events beyond their reasonable control (e.g., natural disasters, strikes, or major infrastructure failures).
ARTICLE 15 - Governing Law and Language
These Terms and Conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the United Kingdom laws. They are written in English.
ARTICLE 16 - Disputes
For any dispute, the Customer should first contact Deskon at contact@deskon.uk - If a resolution is not reached, the dispute may be submitted to the competent UK courts. The Customer may also seek Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR).
ARTICLE 17 - Customer Acceptance
Placing an order on Deskon.uk implies full acceptance of these Terms and Conditions and the obligation to pay.
ANNEX 1 - Summary of UK Statutory Rights
Under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, you are entitled to:
- A full refund: Within 30 days if the goods are faulty.
- Repair or replacement: If the goods are faulty after 30 days.
- The 14-day rule: Under the Consumer Contracts Regulations, you can change your mind for most online purchases within 14 days of delivery.
